Whether you obsess over every new drop or just want a reliable fashion-forward pair, I’m here to help you understand the appeal with advice shaped by my industry experience. Come with me as we unpack what sets these sneakers apart!

Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

So I’m answering a bunch of frequently asked questions, as well as where you can find them on sale, in the sections below! Where can I find Golden Goose sneakers?

I spotted mine on sale via Cettire and snagged them that way!

I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast .

What’s the going rate?

Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.

How does the sizing run?

I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.

Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.

How comfy are they?

They only needed minimal break-in time..

Do they hold up well?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.

Would you recommend them?

Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. I chose a loud pair, but a low-key version would also look great.

Best places to buy them cheaper?

Check out my list below. I had a perfect experience with GGoose.org, so I suggest them first.

  • GGoose.org – the site where I found my pair!
  • Gilt – membership is free!
  • Vestiaire Collection – it also looks like they’re offering $50 off your APP first order of $150+ with code WELCOMEUS50
  • The Real Real – excellent deals on new or barely used GG sneakers
  • Ebay – lots of great deals on pre-owned pairs
  • @likeabandit – she shares loads of GG finds on her IG stories, keep an eye out

Where can I find a pair like yours?

Cettire had them on sale and I took advantage right away!

Placed my order on April 28th and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was really quick .

How much do they cost?

When I bought my pair in April, I paid around $385, but their full price is over $500.

These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $410 and $1,700, depending on how customized they are.

Are they true to size?

I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size

Is the comfort worth it?

They required minimal break-in time.

Do they hold up well?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.

Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
